E.T. Showing at Tivoli Theatre in Downers Grove

E.T. Showing at Tivoli Theatre in Downers GroveHere’s your chance to relive the magic of  the “E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial” movie on the big screen.  The Tivoli Theatre in downtown Downers Grove is hosting a special screening of this family classic at 10AM on Saturday, February 11th.  All proceeds from this showing will benefit a Downers Grove family whose two children have been diagnosed with a rare, fatal illness, LINCL-Batten disease.

Fewer than 450 children in the U.S. have LINCL-Batten disease, a genetic disorder that is always terminal between the ages of 8 and 12. Tracy VanHoutan and Jennifer Farnaus VanHoutan are parents to two of them, seven-year-old Noah and five-year-old Laine. They founded Noah’s Hope to support research, raise funds, inform the community and find a cure for their children and others struggling with this terminal disease.

Admission to this special event is $4 and can be purchased at the Tivoli Theatre box office when you arrive.  The Tivoli Theater is located at 5021 Highland Avenue in downtown Downers Grove.

It’s a worthy cause and cheap ticket price, so come out and enjoy this family classic while helping  a local family in need.
