On Sunday, February 18th and Tuesday, February 20th, the Morton Arboretum will be hosting the “Family Owl Adventure.” The event will introduce your family to the amazing world of owls. The event will be held from 10AM-12PM (both days) in the Thornhill Education Center.
Attendees will get to meet two rescued screech owls and learn more about them from their handler. This family-oriented, hands-on event will give your children the opportunity to dissect owl pellets, handle real owl talons and skulls, and work on owl-related crafts.
The event is intended for children 2 years old and up. The cost for the event is $10 for members, and $16 for non-members. You can register to attend the event here. If you have questions or need more information about this event, please contact the Morton Arboretum at 630-719-2468.
The Morton Arboretum is located on the east side of Route 53 (2-miles south of Butterfield Road) in Lisle, IL
