“E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial” at Tivoli Theatre to Benefit Local Family
Here’s your chance to relive the magic of the “E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial” movie on the big screen. The Tivoli Theatre in downtown Downers Grove is hosting a special screening of this family classic at 10AM on Saturday, February 11th. All proceeds from this showing will benefit a Downers Grove family whose two children have been diagnosed with a rare, fatal illness, LINCL-Batten disease.

Cantigny Car Show Sunday
Be sure to check out the 6th annual Cantigny Car Show event this coming Sunday at Cantigny in Wheaton. The show starts at 9AM and is open to the public until 3PM. Enjoy great food, prizes, and entertainment as you drool over awesome vintage cars! There is a $5 parking fee, but admission to the car show is free.

Winfield Good Old Days festival begins tomorrow, Thursday, September 8th at 5PM. The family-friendly festival is one of my personal favorites of the DuPage County summer festival season, featuring a carnival, food, fun, and live entertainment.

DuPage County Fair 2011 – Fun for Everyone
