I have to admit, I’m very excited about the impending blizzard. I feel like an excited elementary school kid; the anticipation of waking up to two-feet of snow in the morning is almost too much to contend with.

On Friday, July 30th, the Collings Foundation’s “Wings of Freedom” tour will arrive at the DuPage County Airport in West Chicago. A B-17 Flying Fortress, a B-24 Liberator (both bombers), and a P-51 Mustang fighter will be on display from 2PM-5PM.
A public sale will be held at the old Hubble Middle School / Wheaton Central High School property in Wheaton on Friday and Saturday (October 14th and 15th). The school, located on the northwest corner of Roosevelt Road and Naperville Road in Wheaton is slated to be demolished.

On Saturday, March 12th, from 8AM – 10AM, the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise is hosting the annualy St. Paddy’s Day 5k Race. The race will start and finish at the West / Jackson intersection in downtown Naperville.
