National Night Out 2010 Events List

Tuesday, August 3rd is National Night Out. Cities throughout DuPage County (and nationwide) will be holding National Night Out events. Show your support for your community and local law enforcement. Celebrate the work being done in your community to prevent crime, violence, and drug use. Many communities will be holding additional events this weekend (leading up to the 3rd).

Why NATIONAL NIGHT OUT?

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
  • Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs;
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
  • Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
