Fall Festivals in DuPage County

Here is a list of fall festivals, pumpkin patches, and corn mazes in and around DuPage County to help you plan for a fun-filled autumn outdoors:

  • Naperville Last Fling Naperville – This event (like the Naperville Ribfest) has grown rapidly over the previous 5 years, so expect large crowds throughout the duration of the festival.  The Last Fling has fun and enjoyment for the entire family.  The event features a full carnival, arts & crafts, great food, and some of the biggest names in music.  This year’s headline acts include blues legend Buddy Guy and 90’s rockers Collective Soul.  There is a $15 charge for the headliner shows, but in comparison to seeing these same acts at a venue, that’s pretty cheap.  Get out to downtown Naperville this Labor Day weekend to enjoy all the fun times!

  • Festival of the VineGeneva The Festival of the Vine runs Friday, September 9th – Sunday, September 11th and is located in downtown Geneva (Rt 38 just west of the Fox River).  The event is open from 10AM – 9PM on Friday and Saturday, and from 11AM – 6PM on Sunday.  The nice thing about this festival is that it is comfortable and leisurely…  Unlike many of the area festivals, this one has a relaxed, slower-paced, feel to it.  That’s not to say it’s not a good time.  The event features:

– Live music – Dining tent featuring foods from some of Geneva’s finest restaurants – Wine tasting events and seminars – Floral Market – Fair Games for children of all ages – Fine Art and Craft Show – Complimentary scenic trolley rides
