Over the years, I have seen the fireworks displays in Naperville, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Warrenville, and Lisle. All have been fairly impressive.
I’d have to say the best Fourth of July fireworks display I’ve seen locally, was in Glen Ellyn about 10 years ago. Oddly, the least-impressive fireworks display I’ve seen was about 5 years ago in Naperville. I haven’t gone back for their display since. I have to imagine it has improved; Ribfest is a huge event that has grown astronomically over the last 5 years and I bet the crowds have high-expectations.
