Scarecrow Festival in St. Charles Begins

The St. Charles Scarecrow Festival is this weekend, beginning today! The festival runs today, Friday (9AM – 9PM), Saturday (9AM – 9PM), and Sunday (9AM – 6PM), and features a carnival, great food, scarecrow displays, crafts, and live entertainment. The Scarecrow Festival is now in its 25th year and is a wildly-successful event.

The festival is located in downtown St. Charles on the west side of the Fox River at Lincoln Park. The festival is off Route 31 one block north of Main Street (Route 64 / North Avenue).

This festival is a great time for the entire family – very kid-friendly. Kids will love all the elaborate scarecrow contest displays (which seem to get better each and every year). They’ll also love the fun rides at the carnival. Be sure to take a ride on the ferris wheel; from the top, it’s a great view of the autumn colors along the Fox River.
