Coyote sightings are up in Naperville, and residents want to know what to do about it. A number of residents showed up at a special community forum Monday on coyotes at the Naperville Municipal Center. The event was headlined by naturalist Jack MacRae of the DuPage County Forest Preserve District, who offered a presentation on coyotes and then answered questions from the audience. MacRae responded to reasons why nearly 50 coyote-related calls were received by Naperville Animal Control through June of this year, a number which easily eclipses totals from either 2010 and 2011 for the entire year. “As I’ve …
