An ex-convict has been sentenced to four years in prison for slashing a relative’s face during an argument last winter in their apartment in Lisle. Michael J. Janczewski, 28, was convicted in DuPage County Circuit Court of a felony charge of aggravated battery using a deadly weapon, according to court records. Five other charges in the case were dismissed. Judge John J. Kinsella on Monday imposed the prison sentence, giving Janczewski 140 days of credit toward that term for the time he has spent in jail since being arrested, court records indicated.
