Today, July 15th, marks the beginning of GroveFest in Downers Grove, IL. The featival is hosted in downtown Downers Grove and runs through the weekend, ending at 10PM on Sunday, July 18th.
GroveFest is one of the better summer festivals in DuPage County, featuring carnival rides, live music, and tasty food.
The carnival starts tonight at 6PM, and is open until 10PM. Ride tickets are $1.25 each, or $30 for a full-sheet of 30 ride tickets.
Here are the scheduled carnival hours for GroveFest:
- Thu, July 15th, 6PM – 10PM
- Fri, July 16th, 5PM – 10:30PM
- Sat, July 17th, Noon – 10:30PM
- Sun, July 18th, Noon – 10PM
The live entertainment (mostly local bands), starts Friday at 5PM. A host of bands will be performing throughout the weekend. Note that there is a $5 admissions charge after 6PM (kids 10 and under are always free).
