DuPage workNet Career Center Jobs and Resources

The DuPage workNet Career Center offers various employment, career, and workforce development services to the job seekers and businesses of DuPage County. The center used to be located in Lombard, but is now located in Lisle at 2525 Cabot Drive, one block north of I-88 between Naperville Road and Route 53.

If you are trying to find a job in DuPage County, you may benefit from the services and resources available to you via workNet.

There are two main categories of services offered to job seekers that may help you find the job you need.

Basic services include access to a career planning and development resource room. Here you will find information related to occupations, resume writing, interviewing, and employers in and around DuPage County, Illinois. Additionally, the resource room has computers (with internet access), copiers, fax machines, and job boards. Basic services also include access to the Friday Job Club, which meets 9:00 am to 11:30 am each Friday. This is an opportunity to network with other job seekers and share job lead information. A different business or community speaker presents on a special topic each week. Space is limited to 85 attendees.

Advanced Services include scholarships, career counseling, case management, and advanced career training opportunities. As of the writing of this post, access to the advanced services offered via DuPage workNet are very limited due to high demand.

If you would like more information about the workNet program and current offering, I encourage you to check out their career resources website.
