The Home Show College of DuPage is this weekend, Saturday, March 19th and Sunday, March 20th from 10AM-5PM (both days). The event features exhibits and information from home improvement contractors who serve DuPage County and the surrounding area.
Willowbrook Wildlife Center is the wildlife rehabilitation and education center for the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County.
Saturday and Sunday, April 16th and 17th, Kline Creek Farm in West Chicago will be performing sheep shearing. Watch at workers shear the flock of sheep while learning how the collected wool is made into yarn. This is sure to be an event that children will enjoy!
Come out to Kline Creek Farm in West Chicago this Saturday and Sunday, March 12th and 13th to see how a family in the 1890’s would collect maple sap. Watch and learn how the collected sap is boiled and transformed into maple syrup and maple sugar. This educational and fun event is family-friendly.
This Sunday, March 13 (and next Sunday, March 20th), come out to Fullersburg Woods Forest Preserve in Oakbrook to collect maple sap and turn it into sweet maple syrup. This family-friendly event takes place from 12PM to 4PM.
On Saturday, March 12th, from 8AM – 10AM, the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise is hosting the annualy St. Paddy’s Day 5k Race. The race will start and finish at the West / Jackson intersection in downtown Naperville.
Wheaton will host a Recycling Extravaganza event on Saturday, April 16th from 9AM – 1PM.
Come experience an evening celebrating different cultures at the DuPage County Fairgrounds in Wheaton. Area 4-H clubs will present an event filled with culture, food, and entertainment.
The Western DuPage Special Recreation Association will host its 17th annual charity dinner and auction “An Affair to Remember”.
