Cantigny to Host “A Night at the Mansion” Event

Cantigny Events WheatonOn Friday, April 13th at 6:30PM, Cantigny Park will host “A Night at the Mansion.”  This family event, suited to kids of 5 to 10 years of age (and their parents), is sure to be a fun night to remember.

Guests will stay overnight in the Robert R. McCormick mansion; bring a comfy pillow and sleeping bag for this event.  A staff member from the Glen Ellyn’s Willowbrook Wildlife Center will visit with owls and discuss some fun and interesting owl facts.  Kids will then enjoy a craft project and tour the mansion by flashlight.  Once the mansion tour has ended, everyone will get settled into their sleeping bags to watch “Legend of the Gardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole.”

The cost for this event is $40 per person and includes:

  • Continental breakfast on Saturday morning
  • All craft supplies
  • Snacks and beverages
  • Full park access on Saturday
  • Entertainment
  • Parking

Reservations are required for this event.  Please call Cantigny at 630-260-8162 or visit Cantigny.org to make a reservation.  There is a limited amount of space for this event, so reserve your spot early.

Cantigny is located in central DuPage County on the east side of Winfield Road, just south of Roosevelt Road in Wheaton.  There is an entrance/exit to I-88 at Winfield Road, head north on Winfield Road from I-88 to Cantigny.
