The Illinois Tollway Family Safety Fair is scheduled Saturday, July 16 from 10AM – 2PM at the Illinois Tollway headquarters, 2700 Ogden Avenue in Downers Grove, IL.
To help keep kids safe and parents worry-free this summer, the Illinois Tollway and State Police District 15 are teaming up to host this free event offering kids’ identification cards, child safety seat inspections, roadway safety simulations and more.
You would probably be shocked to know that nearly 80% of child safety seats are installed incorrectly! Have your safety seat inspected and gain the peace of mind knowing your child is safe. Get out and enjoy the summer weather while doing something that is both fun and beneficial to your family.
Face painting, crafts for kids and healthy treats will be available, as well as entertainment from Radio Disney and the Chicago Fire Soccer Club.
