The effects of this weak economy have claimed yet another victim… Aurora’s Fall Festival and the Holiday Magic Christmas celebrations have been cancelled this year.
The two events had a combined price tag of nearly $40,000. City officials indicated that the cuts were a necessity due to tight 2010/2011 revenue projections.
The Fall Festival was held at Phillips Park and the Holiday Magic Christmas was held downtown.
