Are you looking for a little bit of offbeat fun Halloween weekend? Check out the Haunted Flea Market at the DuPage County Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 29th from 3PM to midnight. The event will feature a flea market loaded with frightfully-good deals. In addition to the flea market, there will be a beer garden, costume contests, a haunted house, and special guest stars from some of your favorite horror movies.
A public sale will be held at the old Hubble Middle School / Wheaton Central High School property in Wheaton on Friday and Saturday (October 14th and 15th). The school, located on the northwest corner of Roosevelt Road and Naperville Road in Wheaton is slated to be demolished.
Ready for an afternoon dedicated to guitars and free music? Check out the Taylor Guitars Road Show on Sunday, October 23rd beginning at 2PM at the Tivoli Theatre in Downers Grove. The doors open at 1PM allowing visitors to preview Taylor’s wide array of custom guitars.
This Saturday, October 8th, Cantigny in Wheaton will celebrate autumn with their annual Fall Festival. The event runs from 10AM to 4PM and will feature live music by The Salt Creek Boys in addition to stilt walkers, jugglers, and a live children’s show by the entertainer ScribbleMonster. Other family-friendly fun includes a hayrides, jumping inflatables, face painting, and a petting zoo. Snacks will be available via outdoor vendors.

Fall is officially here and the leaves are changing color fast! There are few better places in DuPage County than the Morton Arboretum to view the vibrant reds, yellows, and oranges of Autumn. The fall celebration is going on now at the Arboretum, located in Lisle, just north of Warrenville Road on Route 53.
Be sure to check out the 6th annual Cantigny Car Show event this coming Sunday at Cantigny in Wheaton. The show starts at 9AM and is open to the public until 3PM. Enjoy great food, prizes, and entertainment as you drool over awesome vintage cars! There is a $5 parking fee, but admission to the car show is free.
Winfield Good Old Days festival begins tomorrow, Thursday, September 8th at 5PM. The family-friendly festival is one of my personal favorites of the DuPage County summer festival season, featuring a carnival, food, fun, and live entertainment.
The Last Fling features food, live entertainment, and fun for the whole family. The Naperville Jaycees’ sponsored event includes carnival rides and kid-friendly activities that are sure to bring thrills and smiles. The event takes place near Webster and Aurora Avenue (Naperville Settlement area). The Family Fun Land in Naperville Settlement includes: bounce/jumping features, a petting zoo, radio Disney entertainment stage, and arts and crafts area, food and beverages (including healthy options for kids), face painting and glitter tattoos, and more.
